Ready to knit your own cozy pair of mittens? Join us for a fun, hands-on class where you’ll learn the skills needed to create warm, handmade mittens you’ll love wearing all winter long!

We’ll guide you through the process step by step, including shaping the thumb and finishing your mittens. You’ll also learn two different methods for knitting in the round: double-pointed needles (DPNs) and Magic Loop! Whether you’re curious about trying a new technique or want to find the method that works best for you, this class will help you build your skills and confidence.

The pattern we will be using in class is TinCan Knits: The Worlds Simplest Mittens.

What You’ll Need for Class:

Your supplies will depend on the type of mittens you’d like to make. The pattern includes instructions for four yarn weights: fingering, DK, worsted, and chunky, with needle sizes varying depending on your chosen yarn.

We’ll discuss yarn options, needle sizes, and the materials you’ll need during our first class. If you’d like to have your supplies ready before class begins, feel free to chat with Brittany at the shop for help choosing the perfect yarn and needles for your project!
