Welcome to Yarn Therapy Fibre Crafts

I created Yarn Therapy Saskatoon in summer 2022 to share my passion to create with others. I was looking for a community of makers to connect with and sadly came up empty. After asking if others wanted to meet in the park by my house and I was shocked by how many people were looking for the same connection I was. I started teaching classes shortly after that through my local community association and quickly grew to offering programs of my own. Yarn Therapy Saskatoon was born. After the birth of my Son I was itching for a change. With the unwavering support of my family, I was able to bring my pipedream to life. Owning my own local yarn shop.

OUR MISSION

We envision a local yarn shop as a vibrant hub, offering far more than mere yarn, hooks, and needles. In our view, fibre arts is for all, extending a warm welcome to novices, seasoned enthusiasts, children, and everyone in between. We embrace education, community, and exceptional customer service. Step into our space, and you'll feel as though you're visiting a friend's cozy abode—one who just happens to have an abundance of yarn at the ready.

ABOUT BRITTANY

I have always loved art. From as far back as I can remember, I’ve loved creating.  My mind is constantly running on what I can make next. To fuel my need to create, I made it my career. For the last 11 years I have been a Graphic Designer for a major Canadian radio company and I loved every minute of it.

In addition to my yarn obsession, there are SO many things that I enjoy (too many to list, really). My kids and hubby come first in my life along with my lovely and LARGE extended family and friends (we have a very large fur baby as well).
