KIDS Intro to 2D Needle felting Workshop (Ages 10-15)

Let’s learn to paint with wool!

In this 2-hour workshop your child will learn the basic skills needed to begin their 2D
needle felting journey!  This class is targeted for children ages 10-15. Class sizes are small to ensure each student gets the help and attention needed. Images will be created on a felt sheet and placed into 3” embroidery hoops.

Parents are not required to stay, but are welcome to stay and assist if you wish. If you do not wish to stay, parents must be back at the store 5 min prior to class ending  (12:25).

What is needle felting?

Needle felting is a fibre art technique where wool is repeatedly stabbed with a barbed needle which entangles the fibres to create felt. In 3D needle felting, this process allows fibres to be sculpted into solid three-dimensional shapes and forms such as animals, figures, or decorative items. In 2D needle felting, wool is applied onto a flat surface like a fabric or felt sheet to create images and designs.
